| Inter Milan's Coach ready to Throw Title Away | |||
| Written by Kamal de Gregory | |||
With the tie this weekend against Juventus, InterMilan now only have to take 8 points from the next 6 games to win the Scudetto (Serie A Competition Cup).![]() It has not been always the most beautiful of times for Inter Milan this season, with Adriano, one of their top strikers, leaving to go back to Brazil in disgrace. Inter seems to have exercised any demons of not winning a title under Jose Mourinho early, by winning the Italian Cup in 2008. In 09, Jose has found his winning ways again. With this title, Mourinho will have won almost any title that means anything in European Club Soccer. You name it and he has won it. Maybe just missing a Spanish League Title, would be the only other thing the heart desires if you were born in Setubal, Portugal. Noble Tradition -- When Mourinho wins a League Title, he has a very noble tradition. He takes his winning medals, as he did in the English Premier League and Portugal's First Division. Upon receiving it he then throws it into the crowd. Some lucky supporter will be given the ultimate reward for their faith. Say what you want about the man on the day, about perceived arrogance, but when teams he manages earn titles, he honors the supporters by giving something back. So, the question is not if Mourniho will throw his title winning medal away, but "what lucky Inter supporter will catch the coveted prize?" |
